I had yet another great day off Sunday. Saturday night we all arranged to set the bonfire up in the staff car park. Zach and I went shopping for alcohol, we decided to settle of a 12 pack of Rolling Rock at $11... [wow]
Then on Sunday we had a lay in. after which we went to Big G's and had the biggest sandwich I have ever seen... We then just chilled in the van, it is just nice to get away from Camp... =D
We then wanted to cook a decent meal ourselves, so after having a word with Josh (one of the directors) he gave us access to his personal kitchen. With Zach being Chef, and me a Sus-chef we knocked together a great lasagne and home-made cookies! Which more than a few people enjoyed!
That was my day off =D
So Tuesday comes around, and I have the opportunity to go white water rafting again, so I jump on it. We leave Tuesday evening, we stop of for dinner at a little place called Northwood Outdoors, it was a restaurant with a sports bar, jacuzzi, swimming pool etc. I had a burger, maybe the best one I have ever had...
After this we went to where we were going to spend the night. It was a lodge, it was massive and slept 40... I had a top bunk =D better than the floor... haha
So today we woke up and drove to the rafting place which is called The Moxie activity centre, on The River Kennebec. After having breakfast we separated into our groups and rafted for a good 2 hours, we then stopped on an island for lunch (which consisted of BBQ'd steak and chicken with beans and pasta salad). Once we had stuffed our faces we then laid on the rafts as we drifted lazily down river for a good 4 miles.
We then came back to camp for a dinner courteousy of Papa John.
Now we have free play until bed..... =D
I am a happy Camper..... =D
